"An Amazing Journey"
This oil painting portrays a moment in the long winter journey that many of the mountain dwelling elk face each year. Survival dictates the direction of almost everything this time of year for these hearty animals. What fascinates me the most is the way they interact with each other along this adventure and how that differs from region to region.
In this scene I imagine a bull elk stepping out into the wide open while letting out a lonesome call alerting other elk in the area as they call back. The migration as a whole is on. The journey for these elk and their survival through winter has just begun. The obstacles and stories that lie ahead in these animal's path is what fascinates me and what gets me excited to create and share.

Production and Shipping Times:
All stretched canvas prints are made to order. Production time can vary from 5-10 business days and average shipping time is 2-3 business days once print is made. Average total time for delivery is 2-3 weeks, excluding weekend days.
Rolled canvas prints are also made to order and can take on average 2-8 business days for production and 2-3 additional business days for shipping.
Shipping is free to the USA and Canada for all canvas prints. For other international orders, shipping is calculated at checkout.

How do I know that I'll like my painting once it arrives without seeing it in person prior to purchasing?
I strive to take the highest quality photos of my artwork to display on the product pages. Most images of the art itself are professional imaged and color corrected to the original artwork by professionals. I photograph my framed art and wall photos with a DSLR camera and professional quality lighting. If for some reason you are unhappy with the painting once you receive it then you may return it to the address provided and I will refund your money granted the art is returned in good condition. Insurance is the responsibility of the customer for return postage.
Can I return my purchase if I'm not happy?
Yes, you may return your purchase if you are unhappy with it. If the item is returned in good condition you will receive a refund of the purchase price. Shipping costs are not refunded and insurance on return postage is your responsibility. Please contact me before returning your item, thank you!
How do I know what I'm getting is a quality product?
My original art is produced with nothing by the highest quality artist grade and archival grade materials. From the paints, to the additives, to the canvas, to the boards, to the frames, to the matting and to any other aspect of the process, I use the best possible products and materials available.
