This scene overall means a lot more to me than what's just on the surface. It has so many levels that I can connect with and personally, it's almost as if it brings two chapters of my life together into one: the Great Plains where I once lived and the mountains where I live now and what's special to me are the similarities and aspects that each of these regions share together. In a sense, it captures everything that I've personally held close and near to my heart for the better half of my adult life.
I just love the dead of winter and the stillness that comes with it. It can be such a peaceful time to get out into the wild. For me it just provides an intimacy with nature that is on a completely different level. Then with the addition of the bison, an extraordinary example of how amazing mother nature is, this piece really brings it all together for me.
This painting, which is the third painting in my series this year, gives me a lot of inspiration and I hope that it can do the same for you as well. Life can be so tough in the northern Great Plains as well as places like Yellowstone, but at the same time offer such beauty. I wanted this painting to capture just that and exhibit the relationship between the two and the animals that roam the land.

Her reaction was "He' my favorite artist." So, there you go.
I like the frame and size . The only thing is that the colors are not vivid like I expected .
I am very happy with my purchase. The whole process was very good. Great communication about shipping status. When the canvas arrived it was very well packaged and the piece was perfect.
This is my first purchase of art from Chuck but I will definitely purchase additional pieces.
The canvas received is truly fabulous with the matching and perfect wooden frame ... The colors convey a feeling as if that painted moment was living it .... Beautiful
I love my canvas print. Being a member of Chuck's community, I had the chance to see the processus of creation of this beautiful landscape. The frame and the print are high quality. The order was very well packaged. The service is outstanding. I'm sure it's not my last order.
