Exploring the high deserts of Utah was something I'll never forget and surely be doing again in the future. We saw so many beautiful landscapes and areas while we were there. The one thing in particular that was a constant throughout however, was the unpredictable weather.
It didn't matter where we went, the small, yet powerful storms seemed to roll by all day every day, and I was totally captivated. It got me thinking about the role that weather plays in our environment and the tremendous impact it's had on that area. Water has basically shaped everything at some point in time and virtually nothing has escaped that. One by one the storms roll by, gradually contributing to the ever-changing landscape.
In a way, Mother Nature has never lost. She always finds a way to humble anything in her path while at the same time showing her beauty as she continues her eternal reign over the land.

I love this painting. It brings me so many memories of my home back in Alberta, Canada, where storms like this are a common occurance. We used to watch them like when kids go to the cinema. Chuck has encompassed every emotion those storms conveyed in his work. Thank you for your amazing talent and sharing it with us.
Beautiful print. This is my husband's favorite, and also one of mine. Looks just like our desert during a heavy thunderstorm. We love it.
This print is even more beautiful in person than it was on the screen. It so perfectly captures the beauty of the desert and makes you long to step inside of it and explore. Thank you, Chuck!
Chuck, through his paintings, delivers what we like most......... the great out of doors. This ‘Eternal Reign’ brought back memories of seeing these beautiful storms in out of the way places on our travels. We could smell the sage, greasewoods, and feel the electricity in the air. Chuck did a fantastic job of packaging, sending, and signing this photo. We had to add this to our little gallery. Just wish we had room for a larger version of it. Kathy and John Howard
